On Thursday 14th November 2019 we held our 3rd VOND (VoiceOver Network Drinks) event in LA. We found a great venue in Burbank, Los Angeles. This was a sold out event and the room was jam packed with some of the best voiceover people in our industry including top voice actors, agents, casting directors, directors and producers.
We had a fantastic panel titles ‘Voiceover Dreams, how to make them happen’. On the panel we had Townsend Coleman, one of the most recognisable voices in the industry as well as the voice of Michelangelo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mary Lynn Wissner, one of the top voiceover casting directors in the industry and Dean Panaro, one of the top voiceover agents in LA. The panel was hosted by the founder of The VoiceOver Network, editor of The Buzz Magazine, host and presenter of The Voiceover Hour as well as a very busy and well know voice actor, Rachael Naylor.
The evening involved lots of prosecco, nibbles, prizes, amazing networking opportunities, an informative and inspiring panel and so much more.
The VoiceOver Network is all about bringing the industry together to make it stronger and this event did just that and more. With attendees joining us from the US, the UK, Australia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and beyond made it a truly global audience.
